Zion’s Serving groups seek ways to share the love of Christ by serving others. Serving groups promote servant hearts and participate in servant trainings and events. Serving Group opportunities include:
- Beautification Committee
- Blood drives
- Chapel pianist (for Zion Lutheran School and Preschool)
- Cornerstone Mission
- Craft Fair (November each year)
- Funeral luncheon
- Habitat for Humanity home builds
- Hospitality (visiting and/or making and delivering meals to church members)
- Serving meals for Life Inc.
- LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League)
- Mission Feed
- PTL (Parent Teacher League through Zion Lutheran School and Preschool)
- School library help
- School lunch help
Information about current Serving Group opportunities is on the Groups board inside the church entrance.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed in Serving groups, and suggestions of new opportunities for serving groups are welcomed. To participate in or learn more about any of the Serving groups, please call or email the church office!
